Reluctantly, I am putting my very speical Aprilia 1000cc RSVR mille up for sale.
This is a late 2002 52 plate, generation 1 model which is simply stunning and loaded with extras. Benn the "R" model, it comes with the following extras: Full ohlins superbike spec forks,
Full ohlins rear shock, OZ aftermarket light weight wheels, and as you guys know, dripped in carbon all over, inlcuding Carbon dash surround Carbon side pannels Carbon Wind deflectors front and rear huggers are also carbon.
The bike has covered 26,000 miles with stacks of paperwork and bills. It had a major service less than a 1,000 miles ago. I have all 3 keys for the bike along with the genuine Aprilia handbook. Front forks have just been refreshed and serviced with new seals and oil and set up by a friend who works in the British Superbike paddock. I have owned it since July 2014 and have done a pathetic 200 miles on it.
The bike has the additional extras fitted: Full titanium big bore Ackrapovic exhaust and link pipe - sounds stunning, k&N filter, Braided lines front and rear, Fully floating brake discs, Upgraded Brembo brake calipers with the latest 4 piston calipers (mega stopping power) Single seat cowel, paddock stand bobbins R&G bar ends, Crash bungs, Tial tidy with arrow head indicators Front incidators have been completed removed and aftermarket ones have been fitted in the mirrors of the bike, which makes it look amazing.
One off custom paint job donw by Revolution customs in Reading. Its white perlescent fleck and grey/grey - there is not another one in the UK with a colour scheme like this! Tyres are like new Chain, sprockets and brake pads have tonnes of life. Mot until Apr 2015.
Although she is in excellent condition so does have a few marks and scuff, the worst is when the previous owner dropped the bike off its side stand, however its very minor. Test rides are possible, usual terms and conditions apply. These bikes are becoming more and more sought after and have started to gain value. This bike lives in my house and is pampered beyond belief, its been loving cared for. I can send pics if required (of the bike inside and outside my house!!)
It's only for sale as I'm starting track days up on my CB500 and now need a van.
£2,950 ONO or will px/swap for a van (no crap though please!)
Please contact Chris anytime on 07963424390.
Many thanks and ride safe people.

Very nice bike! Is the head light wearing a cover, or is it stuck on to the headlight plastic? Want one!
Also saw A Jester kitted RSV in pics? Was this yours? Thought I saw it on Ebay a month ago. Good luck with sale and the racing! Shame you have to sell RSV tho! Cheers, Rick |

I think he is using Redratbike's photobucket by the looks of it
The Jester RSV that you can see in his pics i actually bought for all of 3 days as it goes, i never took delivery of it because unfortunately the mileage was quite a bit higher than Gez thought when he advertised it and he couldn't guarantee it. Strangely enough I know the bloke that bought it off Ebay was trying to sell it on for more than he paid for it having not had it long himself |

Ah, I see! Yes that makes sense Redratbike gets everywhere Lol! (cheers Mark) Strange about the Jester tho? Maybe some kind of history issue, going through owners at a fair rate! Personally I like them. Would like one in the stable. Don't get me wrong, love the style of the Mille and wouldn't ever convert mine. But want one of these, as well as! lol If I had a real tatty gen one tho, I'd be a bit tempted to buy the kit.... esp if he did a carbon one! Tho that's gonna be a few quid! Cheers, Rick |

The main problem was that the mileage when i spoke to Gez was reported
to be around 27k as i recall and there was very little service history
with it (not that i was doubting Gez as he is a really nice genuine
bloke to deal with).
But the bike i think had recently been fitted with a replacement Acewell digital dash and was now showing the mileage in Kilometres at around 44K and couldn't be changed, worse still when he had it put through it's MOT the mileage got recorded too so naturally the mileage was showing quite a jump. He was all above board and told me about and offered my money back as well as covering the cost of the courier if i wanted it but there was no harm done and i was also looking at the Haga rep at the same time. But a Jester kit is definitely on the card at some point, but likely on a bike that i can do as a project Strangely the black bike wasn't advertised at the time it was the one below which i missed out on by £100 on Ebay in the last seconds, i mailed him and told him that if the sale dropped through i would be interested and thats when he told me about the black one. Even stranger the blue one having been bought also got advertised on Ebay about 4 months later too and also at a higher price than was paid for it (bearing in mind i was outbid on it! ) |
