Cheers in advance for any advice.

My Mrs is wanting to move away from sports bikes and is looking at a 2010 shiver 750.

what are peoples opinions on the shiver? god bits? bad bits?

she's only tiny (5'2") so it will need to be lowered as much as possible and probably the seat altered.

is this an easy job seeing as there is no shock linkage?

oh, and any performance mods like open airbox, eprom and such like i've done with my tuono?

ps; before anyone says get a a street triple dont bother (i've already had a very long convo about this Ouch) as she hates the look of them and the sound of the whiney engine note . it's all about the look (woman after all) and the sound of the V twin. Thumbs Up

again, cheers in advance for any info.

I am almost certain that the shiver motor is an over bored SV 650 engine which a proven reliable engine.

I went on a group ride out earlier this year and a lad turned up on one.

He came out with a fast group of riders and had no problem keeping up with the pace. Wink

Never look down on anyone unless you are helping them up.
