The Axone can download the files directly from the Aprilia dealer system. The Axone is programmed with the dealer code etc which allows access.

Even if you owned an Axone, without a dealer code you can't get the maps so it either has to be done via a dealer or an ex dealer Axone which has them downloaded already.

yesterday sent mine 1st gen rsv 1000r factory 2004 to get update on mapping..

for a years.. mine bike runs really well on -664583 (file VD5L683$.BIX) (aprilia hardware 385 466 000) (revision number = 4c)

both cyl pressure was equal 616-666 - +

with full system akra..

so mechanic using piaggio navigator.. updated to

-664586 (file VD5G68B$.BIX)

but my siemes VDO ecu rejected to load this version.. why i cant load this mapping?

after that mechanic upload new mapping to the

-664585 (file VD5L68A$.BIX)

revision number = 4c

but mine bike runs not really clear.. seems it didnt like the new mapping.. sometime it jerking.. and really lazy on mid rpm.. charging system in sudden shows below 12.3v.. before get changed.. just fine 13.4v.. will send back soon to change the mapping

cyl pressure is front (1002) rear (702) currently.

664586 is not compatible with a 2 wire pickup from the flywheel which is what you must have if you had 664583 originally. The chart in my first post shows which work with each pickup type and shows 664586 is for a 3 wire pickup only  The axone will not allow you to load an incompatible map.

Throttle bodies should be balanced after each map change regardless if they were right before and maps have no connection with charging voltage. That must be a seperate issue and probably along with the cylinder balance why it is running poorly.

Yes but you will need some take off pipes for the headers. A probe up the exhaust won't work for balancing on a shared collector system.
