Currently having a few issues on my RSV4 with gear shift problems it appears to be a return spring issue, has anyone else suffered these problems and can advise on a fix.

Thanks in advance. BB

All i can say is have a read on Af1 site , i read about movement in the gear selector rod , and causing problems with fourth gear , seems you can access the offending bolt from behind the clutch cover tighten and re loctite, hope this helps .

Yep, mine had some free play at the lever, as Drew said was the gear shaft bolt had worked loose, was with John at bikersworld, east Grinstead, having some other bits done so got him to take apart and re lock tight it etc.  Have a read http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?271945-Gear-shift-spring-pin-worked-loose&highlight=gear+selector+pin.
