Hi fellas, first post on this forum. I hope you can help me out with this issue...
I have a North American '15
RSV4 (previous generation) and I am trying to connect my Garmin Virb XE OBD2
connector. It's a 16 pin connector so I bought a FIAT 3 pin to 16 pin adapter
like what I have seen by looking through another forum for other applications. I
am unsuccessful in getting information from the OBD2 port on the Aprilia to the
OBD2 module on the Garmin. Has anyone else figured out how to adapt the ECU to
display engine data in real-time? That's the sole purpose of why I wanted this
camera. Displaying RPM, MPH, and other useful engine data would be epic on the
track and in the mountains. Could be very instructive. Could I have a faulty
adapter? Or maybe the 3 PIN OBD2 port doesn't send that kind of data? Does it
only send error code data? |
