your first port of call would be the regulator chances are is when one goes the stator goes as well, sometime in the future or by-versa. elextrex.com are the best place for pattern parts that are not made in china.

Not sure it's either if the batt id draining when your not even using it.

Have you checked the batt itself is ok ?

Does sound like a charging issue then but i would take Joe's advice and check the rectifier and maybe measure the stator windings to see if they are in spec.

Deffo agree with Jools, I'm on my 3rd Stator this year, 2nd one was a bad buy, in my opinion......1st one went end of last year...lasted 26 thou miles, 2nd one lasted 1500 miles!!!!!!!, so bought an Aprilia item for the 3rd.

2nd one was an a Electrex item......I posted some pics somewhere, totally burnt out wiring.

Anyways, my thoughts on that, Electrex may have supplied a 1 in a thousand duffun, but I'm not willing to take another chance!

Bike been sweet since I replaced it, charging V solid at 13.4 tickover, 13.8 on the revs.

Plenty of 'recent' fault finding advice if you search the history.
