just brought a noco jump starter the cold weakened my battery the other morning so i thought i would try one of these i was also going to get a lithium battery then i read the instructions for the jump start and it says lead acid only is there a starter for lithium and lead acid as i use both it will have to go back for a cheaper one for me lead battery

I have a feeling that you shouldn't really jump start lithium batteries in case they explode - they don't like a sudden burst of power, which is why there are specific charger for lithium batteries, as these kind of ease into the charge rather than going all-out. |

Yep, never jump start a lithium battery. EDIT: If you must, I have heard that connecting the earth lead to the chassis as far away from the battery as possible reduces the risks. |
