Hi
I'm looking at a 2021 Tuono Factory and wondered if the following parts are compatible between the models 2020(or earlier) -2021 Engine Crash Bungs Evotech or R&G Carbon exhaust hanger for OEM Akra Carbon Front Fender Carbon Rear Fender Radiator/Oil guards - Evotech Rearsets Giamoto etc |

To take a guess
The frame appears the same as are the forks, so I’d expect the crash bungs , rad guards, front fender, potentially the rear sets to be okay. The rear fender probably not as there is now a different shaped swingarm. Lastly the Akrapovic wasn’t OEM (on 2020 and earlier) but an option that some dealers gave away with the bike and then mapped it at the time to retain the warranty authorised by Aprilia. This end can changed between many years, not that you could visually see much of a difference. Since the subframe didn’t change I can only assume it was the end can and pipe work that made small spaces differences. For example a 2017 can looks the same as the 2020 one but the hanger used spacers, to sit the can further from the swingarm. So whether the hanger is suitable with or without spacers you’d need to check. When I purchased my 2020 new, none of the suppliers would give me a definitive answer as I looked at some of the same parts, but in all cases the earlier products from 2017 onwards fitted. As mine came with the optional Akrapovic end as a giveaway and I had to order the hanger separately and that’s when the dealer told me the hanger they quoted on was incorrect as it was spaced differently. Of note I nearly purchased the full Akrapovic system but again there was a difference even between the 2017-2020 models, according to Akrapovic at the time, coupled with about a £1k difference between the two systems. Now whether this was due to a catalyst or similar I can’t say. You can try contacting the dealers or have a look on AF1 website. It gives you all the part numbers of aftermarket stuff you can check between models. That’s how I mostly worked my parts out. |
