Finally managed to get some time in one the latest RSV and I found a Power Commander 3 module in the tail unit.

Anyone got experience with these?

Cheers in advance...

Worth having for sure. They are only as good as the tune loaded onto them though. Mines custom mapped for each cylinder which combined with things like the collector mod gives the bike a super smooth delivery and a good extra shove in the mid range.

So this appears to be an ‘older’ module.
It’s got an RS232 serial port staring at me so I’ll have to buy a serial to usb cable and then try and work out how you use it.

You can down load maps to it but it will never be as good as being set up on a dyno.

Definitely worth having

Made a big difference on my Gen1 with rolling off to a standstill. No jumping about like it was prior below 1500rpm off throttle

Not sure if you can run a dynojet Q/shifter on the early ones should you choose. However other males would do a stand alone one if it’s something you were interested in

Pretty certain I had PC3 on my 955 S/Triple ,it really smoothed the bottom Rev range out and gave another 10 bhp
