Hi All,

Searching for a thread on a belly pan conversion for the later V4 Tuono and can't seem to find much. The power bronze option just makes me wanna stick pencils in my eyes.

It seems pricey enough if you look at the parts list on fowlers but the 2020 is lacking a little pop of colour in the lower half

Any links to the full list of sh1t you might need, brackets etc?

Shot with the mates R1M earlier in the summer

Hello

Indeed a beautiful bike.

I like the muted colours however I do see your point. The only thing I’m aware of is people fitting the belly pan off the RSV4 RF for the colours.
If your keen then a 2019/2020 RSV4 will have the same Matt finish as the Tuono. It will not be cheap however

This kit is a gloss finish, I can’t find the Matt finish  https://www.af1racing.com/Tricolore-2016-Lower-Fairing-Kit-For-Tuono-V4

Interested to see what you do and I may do similar on mine.

I’m really struggling to find good bar end mirrors in th UK at a fair price. The oberan ones aren’t that nice, Rizomo I don’t like leaving CRG that one imported are silly money again.

Did you get the akrapovic with yours?

A couple more unsolicited photos Tongue

Looked into an ECU flash but even the guy selling the service says you may only get 2-3hp, hardly worth it.

He did say however its sounds epic on the over run so you never know LOL

I had mine with the Aprilia approved map for the Akrapovic and the Aprilia RF air kit when I purchased it. It does make great noises on over run and between shifts already 😁
Is the remap much different to the Akrapovic map you think?

As you have the Akra can on the bike already, and assuming you bought it from an Aprilia dealer, they should have installed the Akra map. Any other map you use will void the Aprilia warranty, if there is a problem with the bike.

Yes, not sure what the "custom map" the guy was putting on would add?

Well done
Which year is the belly pan off? You opted for the 2019/2020 RF as it’s the same colour and I believe the Matt look decals

It won't add anything, that the Akra map already has and this has been developed with Aprilia, which is why it is approved by Aprilia. BHP gains are claimed around 4-5BHP in conjunction with Akra can.

As mentioned previously any other map will invalidate your warranty, which for me was the deciding factor when I bought my RSV4.

Feck it, placed the order for the parts earlier, half on back order. Colour as below, states that they are grey panels - have put in a query to see if the decals are extra

I guess the second image sums it up Smile

I look forward to how it all looks.

For mine I’ve ordered the right hand rear set assembly,  to remove the hanger for the oem exhaust and decided to get some bar end mirrors for a try.

If yours looks good with the belly pan conversion I’d consider that myself 👍🏻

Turns out decals not on the panels. Another 40 odd quid in. Plus is you could take your pick of any year decals that you fancy

I keep pondering to do the same.

Can get all the bits I need for £480 which is still pricey.

My main stumbling block is the 2021 tuono looks like it will be similar to the Tuono X so will have a full pan fitted. No frame changes so would bolt straight on.
Wish someone would make these decisions for me 😅

Question...I notice the Tuono and RSV4 have a different system including collector and headers. Is the pan very close to the collector on the right and did you put heat proof matting on as some earlier bikes have melted the belly pan on oem collectors. Only one to not cause issues is given as the full Akrapovic Evo system

Thank you

Exactly rights very close on the right hand side. I put heat protection everywhere I could and used a dremmel to pare back one if the edges. Quick spin and up to temp in the garage and nothing caught fire yet Smile

Hi, new to the forum. I'm considering the same mod. I noticed in your photo you have rim decals. Could you tell me where you got those particular ones from and are they a good color match to the 2020 orange? Thanks.
