Hi, my first post. Is it possible to test the immobilisor? My 2004 gen 2 factory would not turn over this morning. The immobilisor light goes out when you turn the key but it will not turn over. The indicators are not flashing when the fob is pressed either.

There is no fob for the oem immobilisor so it must have a third party one fitted as well.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it's got a Datatool s4 c1 red. I replaced the stator at the weekend which all seemed ok for 2 days then this. I think I'll try and remove the alarm this weekend.

as long as the key light goes out it has accepted your key. So it must be the data tool. Most alarms on bikes I have had dealings with all act up after a few years. Either through corrosion or the internal battery failing.
