Hello gents,

Any idea how much was the trail and the rake of the limited production SP model? Trying to figure out what was the offset of the triple's from the SP models

When I was looking yesterday after your post, I found the 98-00 as 24.5* and 95mm. The 01-03 as 25* and 102mm, same for Gen 2.
Question everything.

The reason I am asking is because I am looking to get a set of adjustable triple clamps.

I have concluded that I can fit triples from an RSV4 since the bearings are the same so is the steering stem. The idea is to change the geometry of the bike to make it a little bit more aggresive.

The RSV4 clamps come in three different steering offsets

30mm for 2009-14
32mm for 2015-17
35mm for Tuono V4 1100

Stock offset for my 1999 Mille is 35...the thing is that I have a set of SP triple clamps on the bike and I have no idea what offset they have but it looks to me that they may already be more aggressive.

Yes I remember buddy and that was my next question -if you had found a set of adjustable yokes.

I was looking at some RSV4 triples as well, but mainly to have something different. I'm not going to find an Edwards top yoke. It's not so important for me to change any geometry, plenty of other things to do. Interested in how you get on.

When I was in the business of fabricating bike frames, I used to have slab yokes custom made by Profab Engineering. They're out of business now (there are other companies of the same name), but were never a specialist in bike bits, just made to order with measurements given.

Interesting seeing the RSV4 offset measurements.

Question everything.
