I'm after fitting a single projector headlight to my RSV race fairing, like the one on the NSR500 highlighted below, the projector light unit is recessed (french'd) into the fairing sorry about the pic but I think it is just visible. The owner of this bike is in the States at the mo so I can't ask him (although I suspect it was done by the bodyshop so he may not actually know the specifics). I've seen a website who supply the mounting tubes but can't for the life in me find this website again. So does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to achieve this?

It's MotoForza buddy.
They do the projector lights and mounts to fiberglass into your fairing. They do a dual beam projector as well. |

Question everything.

I'm going for a single dip beam (about 50mm) and a daytime MOT, you don't actually need a light at all but I think for use on the road some kind of light is wise if only to make you more visible to inattentive car drivers. Also removing the large and heavy OE headlight creates a lot of space in the nose cone I'm going to look into relocating a ion battery in there.

not sure of the exact rules re daytime MOT's but the only requirement USED to be just an horn, but I have a tame tester so either way it will pass and of course as mentioned a strip of tape would cover it up.
Yes the NSR is a right piece of kit, moto2 chassis 100+bhp and 130kgs, here's the MCN article http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/2015/september/mcn-plus---ultimate-nsr-rep-ps/ James is a good mate of mine who now lives in New York but comes over every now and then with either the NSR rep or his equally trick YZR500 has you may gathered he is a two stroke nut e's got something else been built at the moment not sure what yet my guess is a Suzuki 500 rep but whatever it is it will be mega. That said I was out with him a couple of years ago he was on the Yamaha all was going well till it seized up near York fortunately it let go right outside a pub so we could have a pint while waiting for the recovery truck, oh the joys of 2 strokes. |

I'll start a build thread at some point, I've got most of the main bits now so should be able to get started soon, maybe even this weekend. |
