So..... I fitted the Oz wheels and wheeled the old girl out of the garage and everything fine.

Everything double checked and the chain lubed well.

I set off for a ride and everything felt great (apart from needing a chip for the fuelling).

I returned home and noticed a clicking/cracking from the tear end when I rolled it back and forth.

Suspected wheel bearing failure maybe???

I changed a set of bearing's for no reason turned out to be sprocket hub pin's fretting in cush drive bush. When installing wheel put a light smear of grease on pin's not to much as don't want any on rubber.

Really? Would that be enough to make it click?

Check your bearings first for play and running smooth. I checked spindle with dial gauge thinking it wasn't true but was ok.
