Blown the budget this month on a mountain of parts to do a huge ammount of work on my Gen 1. Bike is currently in bits as waiting for wheels to return from refurb and almost finished a hefty service. Started on changing the plugs and found a delightful present from a previous owner which was a knackered front ht lead for the uppermost plug which is written and held together with insulating tape. Please does anybody have an old one going cheap. More than willing to pay of course including postage as I need a temporary fix until next month when I can afford a new set.
If its not broken then fix it until it is

I te you mate they're cheap as chips.
There's 2 cap types on a gen 1 with twin plugs, long and short, and the cable is really cheap.
Get it off eBay mate.

Nice one Johnboy. Can't believe "Aprilia" and "Cheap" as a combination but there's always a first time lol. Cheers for the info as didn't know they were the old skool type lol. Assume they just screw on and screw off then.
