Hi Guys,
so just got around to sorting through the pics from my last track day at silverstone on some baby blade rentals that had definitely seen better days.

great track as always, it always spoils me and makes the rest of the BSB tracks feel like country lanes...ish.

i really want to get in early doors for the first thursday of april and get back down the stone with the RSV and some new rubber to burn in. anyone else get down there this(last) season?

also as a side note the RSV is loud, i mean really bloody loud, the noise limit was stated and i think it was 98db but no one got there bike checked, so im in a bit of a panic about my bike any one been kicked of a trackday for noise?

Yeah, biggest panic with the bike really. You got a stock exhaust just in case? I'd say most full length cans with relatively new packing and a baffle should get you out on most tracks. 98dB is a very quiet day though.

How did the CBR compare to your RSV? Honest opinion, forgetting this is an RSV site..

Going to miss most of this season but I'll happily ogle any photos you post of your adventures.

it was a 2012 600, yeah it was great it had continental slicks on, it slipped on me once the entire day and i was bleeding id dry on that straight just before pit turn off and getting about 150mph out of it. cant make a direct comparison as i haven't even got proper tyres on the rsv yet, but its quite obviously flickier and lighter than the RSV. i amy have to get a stock can then for her.

I think the weight is the main weakness of the RSV. But then it's a bigger bike that attracts bigger riders so it probably evens out a little. I've never found the RSV lacking in agility, or struggled to push a bar at speed. But I know if I swapped to say a GSXR 600/750 it would be like feel weightless.

What is your current exhaust on the RSV? So long as it's not a stubby you should be ok I'd have thought.

Full akra system, trust me i have a 15 plate 1199s with a full akra as well and the RSV is about 20% louder.
