Hi guys
Does anyone have any info on bonded sealing washers used instead of copper washers on banjo bolts?
My new Oberon arrived today and these were in the pack instead of copper washers. Just wondering if anyone has used them and do they do the job as good as copper.
Cheers Alan👍

They will become the norm from now on anyway so I would not worry. I must of used them by now without realising!

They're called Dowty washers. I've used quite a few in my time on aircraft, but quite old aircraft i.e. Nimrod and Hawk and then only on one or two components, certainly none of the newer aircraft to me i.e Tornado.
Never seen them provided as a first use for bikes though, my Oberon uses copper washers.
People say I don't know Jack Sh1t; but I do, he lives next door.
