I had mine made up at the NEC show. The company, whose name I cannot remember, goes to all the bike shows, BMF, NEC and Superbike.

In the past I've used all sorts of earplugs as I have a bit of tinnitus in my ears and don't want it to get any worse, but most I find are too quiet, so I now use cotton wool which I find cuts out the harsh damaging tones and wind noise but allows enough sounds through to enjoy me titanium race cans.

Mmmm was the idle problem just the 'limp mode'? Happened to me once, but the tickover was OK, just would not rev above 3000 RPM. Spotted the oil pressure symbol still on and changed that.

Strange how yours would not idle too, very strange......but great fix, just in time for the rain....PAH!

I also like a clean starfish, but think it's best if everyone just sticks to cleaning their own.

I tried the mould your own ones and couldn't get tem to sit in my ear properly - thought they were sh*t and the bloke selling them was a halfwit with no customer service skills. If I was still commuting I would get a moulded set made up for me with a set of speakers added.
