Yep booking was rolled over from last year , only been going since 2015
only a recent convert as such , absolutely fantastic , will miss it . The guys are proper legends .

Heard when they vote on whether to continue with the TT it's recently been like 51/49 in favour of it. The argument winning out is that the island needs the money coming in. Hopefully they don't go 2 years without it and find they can manage just fine on their own. Otherwise it could mean the end of the TT altogether.

Must admit I stopped going race week as some right idiots over there both on the road and in the pubs Practice week is quieter and I like it

I've never been sadly always wanted to go but yet to make it . Would be a real shame if it's gone for good but I strongly believe it will continue like everything else we all miss at the moment.

Its been on my list for the last 35 years but never had the chance. The TT has pulled through some dark times, like when they wanted to build a dedicated track on the island to cut down on the fatalities, I'm sure (fingers crossed) it will get through this challenge.
Even watching it on the TV every year, I am still utterly gobsmacked at the speeds. Ian Hutchinson did an interview with RST leathers (its on their website) and was asked what was his favourite corner on the course....he said bottom of Bray Hill. Interviewer.."Is that a corner" Hutchy replies with "F*****g corner, have you seen the bottom of it.....180mph, yeah its a corner" Sums it up nicely !!! |

I will dig that out for a watch then It’s certainly exhilarating. When yiu lucky people go, if you don’t already, volunteer to be a Marshall. It’s the best seat in the house. Racers are more accessible to you plus there is a Marshall’s dinner where they have guest speakers. John Mcguiness is a norm as is Hickman last few times I’d been. |
