Either a v4 RF or a Panigale 1299s hopefully.
The one V4 from the FB forum the gent pulled out on which i was a little gutted about. The one from the local dealer I wasn't 100% sure on. It had some lovely crash protection on it. No stone chips on any fairings yet the mirror stems had stone chips so I'm not sure if it had been tracked. Not that that's a massive issue. They had my bike over the weekend to value, I went in this morning after making my mind up that I would place a deposit and someone beat me to it. I'm not to bothered. I'm a true believer that everything happens for a reason. It was just local and convenient I guess. The hunt continues

Something bonkers hopefully. I would't rule out a Tuono 1100 either. Not sure on the spec of them though so I'll need to do some research.

good honest advert buddy, nice to see for a change.
always better pointing out the little bits and bobs and a good description. so many avoid putting any of these bits in fear of not getting lots of interest. some people are picky and expect an as new bike even though its 16yr old. looks a nice bike, well looked after since youve owned it. hope the sale goes through smoothly and as said,i also look forward to seeing the replacement.

The Tuono is totally bonkers. Super chuffed with mine. Maybe 40bhp down on the latest RSV4 but I really can’t find where I’d be missing it unless full on track riding or racing one. Even then....

Hi Sam
I got the latest 2020 Tuono V4 1100 Factory the end of July Got a couple of extras at the time. Came with the Akrapovic end can but I added the RF air kit, it was mapped by the dealer with warranty from Aprilia. I also added the Akrapovic carbon hanger, a carbon rear hugger to compliment the other carbon parts. Some Bonamici brake, clutch levers and keyless fuel cap. Lastly I had a reverse shift gear lever off Griff so I could run it in GP shift Will at some point add my carbon rims, racetorx dog bone and various titanium nuts and bolts too

WOW, that sounds mega!!! Do you use it for road and track, or just track? I've been watching YouTubevideos of 16 models and later. the electronics came on a long way from 17 onwards by the seems.
I've never ridden anything with this sort of power so it's going to be a whole new world and I'm excited

This one is just a road bike for me, for now at least.
It would be amazing on track however and as the electronic’s are noticeable, but not intrusive. The RSV4 with its extra power would be brain fryingly good on track I should think. Was a fair few lads with them singing their praises last I was at Snetterton. Luckily I’ve two dedicated track based bikes but without all the electronic tech bar a quickshifter and power commander.

honest to god hand on heart, id rather fall down a hole onto spikes than deal with another 11 or 1299.

It never pays to buy early incarnations of any Italian sports bike, the 1199/1299/v4 and the rsv4 were classic examples of that. The rsv4 engine is 11 years old in its basic engine design so has the bugs mostly ironed out. But as of 1st jan you won’t be able to buy a new one unless it’s pre registered or they bring out a euro 5 compliant version. |

What happened with it Jimmy to be so bad? A Friday afternoon bike?
Mines now sold, tidy Chap, no messing from the first message to the actual sale. I'm a happy man. Fingers crossed he gets as much fun out of it as I did.
